Our story starts back in 2015 when we developed our first portable brake kit for use while we hired out our privately owned caravan. While our caravan hire company grew rapidly into what is known today as Outback Caravan Hire so did our demand for our portable braking device. While Outback Caravan Hire has successfully manufactured and distributed our portable brakes kits to individuals and businesses nationally since 2016 the need to create a new brand "eBrakes" began to provide a network for resellers to access our product range. eBrakes now offers the full range of portable brake kits, wiring looms & trailer adapters to all approved retailers along with the option for the public to purchase via our online store. 

Product Application

Our products are heavily used throughout the caravan & trailer hire industry, corporate vehicles where permanent fitments are not permitted, individuals who do not wish to permanently install a brake unit along with families who share the one trailer between their own vehicles. All of these situations require a solution, and eBrakes provide that solution allowing any vehicle without an electric brake controller fitted the ability to tow a trailer with electric brakes safely and legally. This could be a caravan, camper trailer, large box trailer, car trailer or plant trailer, basically any trailer with electric brakes fitted up to 2 axles/4 wheels. The best part is you do not need to purchase multiple kits depending on the tow vehicle & trailer socket configuration as our custom interchangeable adapters & simple plug & play system allows each kit to be easily transferred from one car to another and used on any trailer creating a complete universal package providing safe & legal towing without the need for hard wiring.
